A Very Personal Announcement
After a lot of thought, I’ve made a decision that I never imagined I’d have to make…
2027 𝔀𝓲𝓵𝓵 𝓫𝓮 𝓶𝔂 𝓯𝓲𝓷𝓪𝓵 𝔂𝓮𝓪𝓻 𝓸𝓯 𝓹𝓱𝓸𝓽𝓸𝓰𝓻𝓪𝓹𝓱𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝔀𝓮𝓭𝓭𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓼.
And because my 2027 diary is already completely full, I won’t be taking on any more wedding bookings.
This hasn’t been an easy decision. Weddings have been such a huge part of my life and my business, and I genuinely feel incredibly lucky to have spent so many years doing something I love.
I’ve had the privilege of being invited into one of the most important days in people’s lives. I’ve watched nervous couples become newlyweds, captured the tears, the laughter, the chaos, the ridiculous dance moves, the quiet little moments and all the things in between.
And most importantly, I’ve met some absolutely incredible people along the way. ❤️
To every single couple I’ve photographed over the years — thank you.
Thank you for choosing me.
Thank you for trusting me.
Thank you for letting me into such an incredibly personal and important part of your lives.
And thank you for allowing me to turn those moments into memories that you’ll hopefully treasure for the rest of your lives.
To my 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀, thank you for continuing to put your trust in me.
And to all of my 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀, I cannot wait to spend my final year of weddings doing what I’ve loved doing for so long. I’m going to make the most of every single one. 🥹❤️
There is, however, one very big reason behind this decision…
𝓜𝔂 𝓯𝓪𝓶𝓲𝓵𝔂.
As much as I love weddings, they take an enormous amount of time — not just the hours spent shooting, but the editing, the emails, the admin, the weekends, the evenings and everything that happens behind the scenes.
I’ve reached a point where I want more of that time back.
More weekends.
More evenings.
More time being present.
More time with the people who matter most to me.
So this isn’t really about walking away from something I don’t love.
It’s about making space for something I love even more. ❤️
I’m incredibly proud of everything I’ve achieved with my wedding photography, and I’ll always be grateful that I got to call this my job.
So here’s to 𝓸𝓷𝓮 𝓯𝓲𝓷𝓪𝓵 𝔂𝓮𝓪𝓻 𝓸𝓯 𝔀𝓮𝓭𝓭𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓼 𝓲𝓷 2027. 🥂
One final chapter.
One final collection of incredible couples.
And hopefully one hell of a way to finish. ❤️
𝓣𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓴 𝔂𝓸𝓾, 𝓯𝓻𝓸𝓶 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓫𝓸𝓽𝓽𝓸𝓶 𝓸𝓯 𝓶𝔂 𝓱𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓽, 𝓽𝓸 𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓻𝔂 𝓹𝓮𝓻𝓼𝓸𝓷 𝔀𝓱𝓸 𝓱𝓪𝓼 𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓻 𝓽𝓻𝓾𝓼𝓽𝓮𝓭 𝓶𝓮 𝔀𝓲𝓽𝓱 𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓲𝓻 𝔀𝓮𝓭𝓭𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓭𝓪𝔂.
You’ve given me memories, friendships, stories and a career that I’ll always be incredibly proud of.
And now… it’s time to make a little more room for my own memories. ❤️
